Crock You was developed during the pandemic for several reasons, including a) providing safe and sanitary chef-driven meals to busy families that did not feel safe venturing out and b) keeping our restaurant staff employed and busy while restaurants’ dine-in capacity was limited. Creating the Crock You concept was a fun way to motivate our chefs and utilize our space and equipment during what would have otherwise been downtime.
As the Crock You concept evolved, we realized that providing easy-to-prepare-and-serve chef- driven meals has a much broader and long-term appeal that reaches far beyond our initial business plan. This includes providing family-style meals at a discount to alleviate caregiver responsibilities at assisted-living facilities or group homes for seniors, persons with learning differences, persons with disabilities, or persons undergoing rehabilitation (either physical or mental).
